Michael Alexander ’05

Executive Vice President, International Marketing, Universal Music Group East Coast Labels (Def Jam, Island, Republic Records). Michael is the head of International Marketing and Publicity for Universal Music Group’s East Coast labels, responsible for overseeing marketing, publicity, and talent relations for more than 300 artists. Michael and his team have played an integral roll in the development and global success of such artists as Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Drake, Post Malone, Luis Fonsi, and The Killers. Michael joined the UMG family in 2003 as an intern during his sophomore year at Muhlenberg College.

Gabe Bernstein ’15

Account Executive, Rouge Media Group. Gabe got his start in marketing and advertising through his internship with Sodexo Dining Services while he was still a Muhlenberg student, which led directly to a position as the Marketing Coordinator for Stony Brook Campus Dining. From there, he moved to Manhattan as a Media Planner for two different advertising agencies, working with clients such as Anheuser-Busch, MetroPCS, Simon Malls, 24 Hour Fitness, Dairy Queen, and Cartier. He recently transitioned to ad sales with Rouge Media Group, specializing in business development and college campus media.

Kendall Bryant ‘05

Head of Product, Well+Good, a lifestyle and media company dedicated to wellness. She spent the early part of her career in journalism (Men’s Health and Best Life magazines) on the editorial side, and later took her passion for blending content with purpose to NBCUniversal where she launched the company’s first on-air, pro-social, single cause initiative— Green is Universal—which evolved into a corporate social responsibility division. Kendall has also led content and product for a tech startup, and was a former design lead and content strategist at Fidelity Investments. Kendall graduated from Muhlenberg in 2005 and has her master’s in advertising from Boston University.

Kaitie Burger ‘12

Social Media & Communications Manager, Discover Lehigh Valley. Kaitie is responsible for managing social strategies, coordinating public relations efforts, and creating content for the organization’s website, newsletters, and blog. Kaitie currently serves as the chair elect of the Mid-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance. In 2016, she was named to Destination International’s “30 Under 30” list as a future leader in the tourism marketing industry. Outside of work, Kaitie spends time teaching at local dance studios.

Joe Caporoso ’09

VP of Social Media, Whistle Sports. Joe has been at Whistle Sports for three years and is currently in charge of setting day-to-day content strategy for their YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. He also owns a website on the NFL/New York Jets,, which helped him get his initial position with Whistle Sports.

David (D.J.) Carey ’12

Product Manager, TouchTunes Interactive Networks. DJ oversees strategy, roadmap, and feature definition on a number of the company’s products. Previously he worked as a Digital Operations Manager at the NBA and as a Digital Content Editor at ESPN. At Muhlenberg, he was president of MBC, co-hosted a sports talk radio show on WMUH, and was the videographer for Muhlenberg’s men’s lacrosse team.

Jeri Cohen ’84

Senior Level Strategist, Freelance Consultant. She most recently directed global brand strategy for $10 billion QVC, Inc., during the company’s reimagining of its brand and business model. Jeri is often hired to implement change and help imagine the future for clients. She also began teaching Brand Culture and Creative Strategy at Muhlenberg last spring, and finds it rewarding beyond words.

Katherine Dalldorf ’16

Associate Editor, Photographer, Producer and Camera Person, Four Corners Media, an award-winning documentary production company in Brooklyn, NY. She has worked on films and projects throughout North America and in Europe, documenting everything from the 2017 Women’s March in D.C. to the refugee crisis in Lesvos, Greece. Through Muhlenberg, she spent a semester abroad studying at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, Czech Republic. During her time in Prague she wrote and directed a short film shot on 16mm.

Kyrie Fisher ’13

Executive Assistant/Office Manager, Philadelphia Film Society. Kyrie began working with the Philadelphia Film Society as a volunteer during their 2013 and 2014 Philadelphia Film Festivals. She worked her way up through interning, then a seasonal position, before joining the staff as a full time employee in January 2017. In addition to the Festival held every October, PFS has year-round events and educational outreach, as well as screening both first-run films and curated programming at their two venues: the PFS Roxy and the Prince Theater.

Justine Flax ’05

Manager, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Operations, CBS. Justine graduated from Muhlenberg with a dual degree in French and Communication without any idea of what she wanted to do. She fell into human resources through a temp job and has not looked back since. She eventually broke into recruiting while at New York Presbyterian Hospital as a “sourcer,” and then left to pursue a role in HR management at Jamis Bicycles. She solidified her career aspirations with a master’s in human resources at NYU. At CBS, Justine recruits for job openings across a majority of the CBS platforms, including CBS Sports, Network, and Showtime.

Jillian (Bevacqua) Fligge ’11

Director of Marketing & Special Projects, Paxos Restaurants, a familyowned company based in the Lehigh Valley that owns a number of local restaurants and businesses. In an ever-moving position, she works directly with ownership on company-wide developments, is in charge of email and social media campaigns, advertising, and menu design for the restaurants, and coordinates events and upcoming projects. A former editor of The Muhlenberg Weekly, Jillian’s career history also includes freelance reporting for a number of newspapers, magazines and blogs in the tri-state area.

Jonathan Flint ’13

Program Manger, Camphill Communities California. Jon applies the communications and management skills he learned at ’Berg to engage others in co-creating inclusive and diverse households of people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities. People who succeed in his workplace tend to be self-motivated lifelong learners, ask great questions, observe details, discover patterns, can take action, communicate effectively, and create space for compromise. His work involves regulatory agencies, public policy and advocacy, as well as program development and management, such as identifying benchmarks which contribute to quality of life and reporting on those outcomes. Jon currently resides in Santa Cruz, CA with his wife Rachel, and their dog, Hazel.

Insley Fowler ’09

Pedestal Studio Camera Operator, CNN. Insley operates pedestal studio cameras for all DC-based shows and shades and controls robotic cameras within the bureau as well. She also travels with the special events crew to cover conventions, debates and town halls, especially during her most recent role as Wolf Blitzer’s floor director. For the past eight years, Insley has had several roles within CNN since beginning as an Operations Intern through Muhlenberg’s Washington Semester.

Jennifer Gable ’10

Policy Health Policy Manager, PolicyLab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Jen supports the development and implementation of the center’s policy agenda, and works closely with the communications team to ensure that PolicyLab research is well-positioned to influence policy decisions affecting children’s health at the local, state and federal level. Prior to joining PolicyLab, Jen worked as a Communications Associate for the National Skills Coalition in Washington, DC, and served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley. Jen completed her master’s in public administration and in bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sabrina Gonzalez ’15

Account Coordinator, GroundTruth, a location-based marketing and advertising platform for publishers and developers. After a year in an Ad Sales Rotational Program at NBC, Sabrina transitioned to an Account Service Rep role for NBC Primetime TV. There she called on various media agencies and helped manage their TV buys. She moved into digital advertising last spring, GroundTruth as an Account Coordinator. At GroundTruth Sabrina works with the sellers to build the proposals, brainstorm creatives, and manage measurement studies for the National Team.

Sophie Hirsh ’14

Journalist, Romper and other sites. Sophie is a NYC-based journalist currently writing for Romper part-time, and freelancing for sites including HelloGiggles, Reductress, and amNewYork. She previously worked as a writer for Mashable, Conde Nast (where she wrote for Allure, Architectural Digest, Bon Appétit, Brides, Condé Nast Traveler, Epicurious, Glamour, Self, Teen Vogue, and W), and Someecards.

Sarah Inocencio-Miller ’16

Freelance Artist. Sarah is a freelance artist originally from Los Angeles, CA, and now living in Brooklyn, NY. She is navigating the world of freelance media work while pursuing a career as an actor.

Rachel Jakubowitcz ’12

Account Executive, Vault Communications. Rachel supports a variety of food clients through year-long PR and marketing campaign execution. The bulk of her work is spent on media relations and acting as an undercover sleuth to find journalists’ contact info. She also supports event management, writes marketing materials and manages daily client and internal communications. Previously, she worked on travel, hospitality, healthcare and retail accounts at Hornercom, outside of Philadelphia, and Development Counsellors International, in Manhattan. She is a media maven and a wizard when it comes to landing top-tier national and regional placements.

Sadie Katz ’17

Customer Experience Association, ClassPass, the world’s largest healthclub aggregator. Working at a fast-growing start-up has given Sadie opportunities to dip her toes into many aspects of ClassPass, in addition to her primary role as a Customer Experience Associate. She spends her days in communication with ClassPass customers, analyzing user sentiment and looking for trends and bugs with the app. Sadie is also on the social committee for the whole company and is part of the mentorship program, working with the head of marketing to gain insight into a different side of the business.

Ryan Killeen ’12

Software Developer, Think Company, a Philadelphia-based digital design firm. Before joining Think, Ryan worked as a developer at Nimblelight, as a lighting designer at World Cafe Live, and as a technical director at the Upper Dublin School District. At Muhlenberg, Ryan double majored in Media & Communication and Theatre.

Gabrielle Korn ’16

Creative Producer, Weber Shandwick, a global PR firm. In her role, Gabrielle produces creative content that launches on multiple platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and television. She oversees projects from concept to delivery: bidding directors, budgeting, managing shoots, and navigating complex calendars. When she’s not at her job, Gabrielle can be found art directing music videos and taking pictures of dogs that she wishes she owned.

Alyssa Kratz ’17

News Producer, Blue Ridge Communications TV-13, a local news station in Northeast Pennsylvania. Alyssa is the news producer for the 5:30 pm Valley Report at Blue Ridge Communications TV-13. Her show covers local news and sports in Carbon, Schuylkill, Lehigh, and Northampton Counties. She is responsible for finding and writing news stories, coordinating assignments, and collaborating with anchors, reporters, videographers, and technical directors to create the show and make sure it airs smoothly. Alyssa graduated from Muhlenberg last May and started at TV-13 in July as an Associate Producer. She was promoted to a producer role in December.

Philip Lakin ’09

National Agent Operations Specialist, Compass, a technology-driven residential real estate brokerage. Philipgraduated from Muhlenberg in 2009 as a Theatre and Media & Commutation double major. The skillset he developed at Muhlenberg, combined with his love for startups, led him to launch his own guerrilla marketing agency. One of their largest clients, Gett (a ride-sharing platform based in Israel), acquired them soon after. This led to Philip honing his skills in people management, building onboarding platforms, and scaling operations. At Compass, he works with Agent Ops teams all over the country to improve agent onboarding and retention.

Heather (Fox) Lavin ’08

Senior Associate Director of Communications, Muhlenberg College. Heather has worked in higher education and development for seven years. In her current position, she writes, designs and coordinates strategy implementation for communications to Muhlenberg alumni. Her expertise is in engagement and philanthropy through digital and social media. Heather has also served as a fundraiser, event planner and volunteer manager here at ’Berg. She was a Media & Communication and Dance double major and has a master’s in arts administration. Heather spent her first years after graduating as a touring performer and dance/ fitness instructor.

Molly Majewicz ’17

FeIlow, Olympus Corporation of America, the global optics company. After graduation, Molly joined Olympus’s Fellows program, a rotational leadership development program that exposes fellows to three areas of the business. Molly’s first rotation focused on social media, specifically planning, developing, and posting content, as well as reporting on the company’s corporate and medical platforms. Her current rotation is in corporate communications, where she is helping to infuse the company’s new brand language into key areas of the business. She has also transitioned from a student DJ to a community DJ on Muhlenberg’s station, 91.7 FM. Her show is bi-weekly on Saturdays from noon to 2pm.

Jack McCallum ’71

Senior Writer, Sports Illustrated. Jack worked as a sports journalist for forty years. He was elected to the writers wing of the Basketball Hall of Fame and is the author of twelve books, including the New York Times bestseller Dream Team. He teaches as an adjunct at Muhlenberg and has a Master’s degree in English literature from Lehigh.

Seth Mellman ’75

Freelance DGA Stage Manager. Seth began working in television production in 1990 and became a member of the Directors Guild of America in 1992. His resume includes the Tony Awards, Kennedy Center Honors, MTV Music Awards, Grammys, Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD, Iron Chef America, CMT Awards, HBO Comedy Hour, Rachael Ray, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Good Morning America. He is currently working on his eighth season of The Dr. OZ Show along with other freelance work. Seth also produces, shoots and edits corporate video projects through his production company SMP Video LLC, in Princeton, NJ.

Alex Mulhearn ’11

Associate Creative Director, VaynerMedia. Alex spends his days creating attention-grabbing content for our frenetic, mobile-first world. His 6+ years of experience at VM includes work with Fortune 500 brands such as GE and Budweiser as well as start-ups like Spotify and Bragi. At ’Berg, Alex was a double major in Media & Communication and Business Administration. He also helped start the Muhlenberg Ultimate Frisbee team.

Katie Peikes ’15

Science Reporter, Delaware Public Media. Katie reports on science for Delaware’s NPR affiliate, covering topics like beach erosion, water contamination and agriculture. She has placed several stories on other public radio stations across the Mid-Atlantic region and has contributed to NPR’s newscast unit. Before her present position, she was a municipal government reporter at a Northern Utah newspaper and a freelancer for Utah Public Radio. While at Muhlenberg, Katie was an active member of WMUH, MBC and The Muhlenberg Weekly. She also published a pair of pieces in The Morning Call.

Andrew Rhodes ’11

Account Supervisor, DKC, one of the top 10 independent PR firms in the country. In over five years with DKC, Rhodes has helped plan and execute strategic public relations plans for clients across a wide range of industries including sport, media, business and technology. Clients during his tenure include: Facebook, Delta Air Lines, Ken Burns/PBS, NBC, NFL Films, Pro Football Hall of Fame, United States Tennis Association, The Players’ Tribune, Oath/Yahoo, MOD Pizza, Ritani and Windpact. His past experience includes time with WNBC-TV (NBC 4 New York) and Minor League Baseball’s Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Outside of the office, he is passionate about his volunteer leadership work with the March of Dimes.

Sara Rosenman ’17

Market Analysis Associate, NPD, a global market research company. A 2017 graduate with majors in Media & Communication and Psychology, Sara’s position at NPD is part of the Charter Program, a rotational program designed to train recent graduates for client development market analysis roles at the company. Sara works out of their headquarters in Port Washington, New York, helping to analyze data and form insights about trends in retail and consumer behavior.

Sarah Rosenthal ’10

Assistant Director, Wasserman Center for Career Development, NYU. Sarah has been at NYU for almost three years and has about eight years of experience working for different colleges and educational organizations. She works with students and alumni on career development, manages a grant for students with unpaid internships, oversees data visualizations based on internal assessments, and collaborates with other NYU sites in DC, Sydney, and Tel Aviv. She completed her master’s in higher and postsecondary education at Teachers College, Columbia University. At ’Berg Sarah was on the executive board of Alpha Phi Omega, Colleges Against Cancer, Relay For Life, and was a backwards-walking tour guide.

Christopher Seivard ’86

Owner, C.Seivard Production Services. Christopher has shot network TV, worked on major films, and shot anything else that he was asked to shoot. As owner of C.Seivard Production Services, he continues to work in this rapidly changing media universe as a Director of Photography and media consultant.

Lisa Siciliano ’10

Manager of Digital Video, Nickelodeon. Lisa has been a Viacom employee since 2013, almost five years to the day! She spent the first 4.5 years working with the Media Services Distribution team, which is responsible for the creation and delivery of Video on Demand and Download to Own content for all networks. This past summer, she joined Nickelodeon. and now works with Apple, Google, Amazon, Xbox, the programming team, and her old team to make sure that every Nickelodeon show is available on DTO stores day after air. Lisa is excited to be back for her 7th Alumni Week!

David Slotnick ’11

Senior Reporter, Business Insider. David recently transitioned to reporting, after previously working in public relations. He writes about travel, personal finance, and transportation. Shortly after graduating Muhlenberg, he attended the University of Edinburgh in the UK and earned a master’s degree in history.

Diane Tamulavage ’13

Account Manager, Fame House (UMG). After graduating from Muhlenberg in 2013 with degrees in Media & Communication and Religion Studies, Diane quickly flocked to the ever-evolving music industry. She began her career in music freelance blogging for Your EDM while working as a Social Media Coordinator for Tiesto’s label, Musical Freedom. Currently she’s an Account Manager for award-winning Philadelphia agency Fame House (UMG) where she’s worked with artists and music brands such as Lady Gaga, Robin Schulz, Imagine Festival, Flosstradamus, REO Speedwagon, Beatport, & more!

Ian Tauber ’89

Associate Director, Advancement Services, Muhlenberg College. Ian is a member of the College’s Office of Advancement, which encompasses fundraising, alumni relations, and career services. In his current capacity, he produces research, reports, and analysis to enhance the College’s fundraising efforts. Previously, he worked in market research and marketing at The Morning Call newspaper and, before that, in sales and marketing at Rodale, Inc. He is married to an ’89 alumna and they are the parents of a ’16 alumnus.

Diana Tirendi ’07

Senior Associate Director, Alumni Affairs office at Muhlenberg College. Diana graduated with a BA in Media & Communication. While at Muhlenberg, Diana was active with the Best Buddies program and the Arc of Northampton County. Her passion for volunteerism led her to a career in nonprofit where she led successful campaigns at the March of Dimes until 2010 when she moved to the American Heart Association, leading the Lehigh Valley Heart Walk and Go Red For Women campaigns. In 2013, Diana had the opportunity to extend her experience into higher education in an alumni volunteer management role at Lehigh University. In 2016 she was fortunate enough to transition that experience into a role at her alma mater, where she currently serves as the Senior Associate Director in the Alumni Affairs office.

Dylan White ’14

Production Specialist, Technicom Audio Visual. As part his role Technicom Dylan works as a contractor for Muhlenberg College’s Media Services department. Since graduating from Muhlenberg, he has held positions in a number industries, working as a legal videographer, budtender, production assistant, and travel agent. In his free time, Dylan is a writer, filmmaker, and community radio programmer at 91.7 WMUH.

Elizabeth (Kelsey) Whitney ’04

Attorney, Meguire Whitney. Elizabeth counsels community-focused electric utilities (mostly not-for-profit) on public policy matters before Congress and the executive branch. Her firm provides strategic communication and lobbying services. In addition to a BA in Media & Communication from Muhlenberg, she holds a master’s in political management from George Washington and a law degree from Georgetown.

Maggie Zerbe ’17

Digital Media Content Associate, Philadelphia 76ers. At the 76ers, Maggie creates content for digital media platforms and assists in managing multiple social media channels. Previously, she was a member of the NFL Films social media team. In addition to social media content, she has cut segments for Showtime’s Inside the NFL, ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, and HBO’s Hard Knocks. Maggie graduated Cum Laude in 2017 with a degree in Media & Communication and a minor in Creative Writing. At Muhlenberg, she was a member of the Media and Communication Honors program and proudly competed on the women’s basketball team for four years.

Lauren Zipkin ’14

Media Buyer, Chief Media, a boutique agency specializing in direct response marketing and advertising. Lauren graduated with a BA in Media & Communication and Film Studies. Some of her networks include (but are not limited to) A&E, VH1, NBC Sports, FX, Discovery Channel, and USA. In her spare time, Lauren has also volunteered for the New York Film Festival and worked for the Tribeca Film Festival. As a student, she was President of the Muhlenberg Film Association and the Muhlenberg Broadcasting Community.
