Michael Alexander ’05

General Manager, Island Records (Universal Music Group). Before the General Manager position, Michael was head of International Marketing and Publicity for Universal Music Group’s East Coast labels, responsible for overseeing marketing, publicity, and talent relations for more than 300 artists. In 2018 he was named one of Music’s Top Young Power Players by Billboard in their annual 40 Under 40 issue. Michael and his team have played an integral role in the development and global success of such artists as Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes, and Drake. Michael joined the UMG family in 2003 as an intern during his sophomore year at Muhlenberg College.

Elana Banin ’10

Policy Advisor, International Rescue Committee. Elana ignites commitment and investments for women and children in crisis and conflict. Elana has a decade of experience in advancing and executing public policy, including most recently leading strategic planning in UNICEF’s Division of Communication’s advocacy team, and research analytics for the advocacy and public policy team at PATH, a global health organization. Other focus areas for Elana: national and human security in Thailand and ASEAN region; Middle Eastern failing states with a case study on Syria at the onset of the Syrian war; and the role of politicized funding in the Arab-Israeli conflict. Elana holds an MA in International Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University and a BA in international studies and Media & Communication from Muhlenberg College.

Ella Bruck ’21

Account Supervisor, Prosek Partners. Ella has a wealth of experience providing financial communications advisory during normal-course business and through transformative events for her clients. Based in New York, Ella is an Account Supervisor at Prosek Partners driving the development and execution of financial communications across public and private markets for special situations, executive advisory, media relations, thought leadership initiatives and cross-industry strategies. Prior to joining Prosek Partners, she worked at The One Nine Three Group, where she served as a Senior Associate and Chief of Staff to the agency’s CEO, supporting with new business and operational strategies. Ella began her career at Edelman Smithfield where she worked with clients in the financial services and technology spaces across traditional proactive PR and special situations including M&A and C-suite transitions. Ella earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communication and Anthropology from Muhlenberg College.

Kaitie Burger ’12

Director of Destination Strategy, Madden Media. In her role at Madden Media, Kaitie oversees marketing and communication strategies for destination clients ranging in budget size and leads business development efforts in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. She is an alumna of Destinations International’s “30 Under 30” program and currently serves on the Alumni Committee for this industry association. Prior to joining Madden in 2020, Kaitie spent eight years with Discover Lehigh Valley as Content & Communications Manager where she led digital marketing, content, and public relations strategy. During this time, she served on the Board of Directors for the Mid-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance, including a term as Chair of the organization. Kaitie holds a BA in Media & Communication from Muhlenberg College and an MS in Travel & Tourism from Temple University. She remains actively connected to the ‘Berg community and currently serves as President of the Alumni Board.

Michelle Capobianco ’18

Legal & Business Affairs Counsel, Global Citizen. Michelle (she/her/hers) is a New York-based attorney with extensive experience working with musicians, performance artists, and theater professionals in the music, theater, and live entertainment industries. In her current role as Business & Legal Affairs Counsel for Global Citizen, she oversees all legal matters relating to the company’s nonprofit endeavors and live music event productions worldwide. She previously served as Assistant General Counsel at RWS Global and has also held legal positions at the Director’s Guild of America and New York Stage and Film. She earned her B.A. at Muhlenberg College ‘18 and her J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law ‘21.

Jennifer Clendening ’10

Principal Associate, Philadelphia Research and Policy Initiative, The Pew Charitable Trusts. Jen has nearly 15 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector. She began her career in nonprofit communications as an Americorps VISTA and then for a workforce development policy shop in Washington, DC. In recent years, she worked in health policy at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and taught health policy communication for the MPH program at the University of Pennsylvania. In her current role, she is a project manager for research and policy efforts centered on health, housing, and the local courts system in Philadelphia. Jen graduated from Muhlenberg with a major in Media and Communication, holds a masters in Public Administration and masters in Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania, and recently earned a Project Management Professionals (PMP) certificate. She’s excited to be back at ‘Berg to meet current students and reconnect with old professors and friends!

Nicole Confalone ’13

District Human Resources Manager, Sodexo – SCSU Dining Services. Nicole is responsible for human resource functions, up to complex issues and administration for SCSU and surrounding districts in Southern CT and New England. This includes payroll, benefits, EEOC training, leadership training, employee relations, recruiting, safety, and serving as an ambassador for diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments & culture. Nicole’s main role is focused on the hourly workforce, spanning both union and non-union accounts, including 800+ frontline employees lead by 10+ General & Operations Managers. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys snuggling with her 9 lb. miniature dachshund named Ryley, taking boxing classes, and binge-watching sitcoms and dramas typically featuring a high-powered female lead to include Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, Ginny & Georgia, Bridgerton, etc. just to name a few.

Ayanna Costley ’19

Creative Copywriter, Dentsu Creative. Since graduating in 2019 with a degree in Media and Communication and a minor in Africana Studies, Ayanna has worked all across the media and entertainment world including at Billboard, A24, NBCUniversal’s Page Program, and Janelle Monae’s production company, Wondaland Pictures. She pivoted from the Hollywood assistant life to the creative world of advertising in 2023. Currently, she works as a Creative Copywriter at Dentsu Creative, developing and writing concepts for American Express’ brand storytelling campaigns (commercials, billboards, series, etc). She also produces the No Sleep Till Hollywood podcast, where she’ll be joining as co-host in 2024. Ayanna continues to write about music, film, and culture as a freelance writer for various publications.

Ellen Delisio ’82

Content Producer, AAA Northeast. Ellen is a content producer for AAA Northeast in Garden City, N.Y. Her beats include the automotive industry, electric vehicles, finances and sustainability. Ellen’s work appears on the AAA website and the digital magazine. She also contributes to a website covering sustainable business practices and a life sciences magazine. Prior to joining AAA, Ellen worked for a state college and a website for K-12 educators, had a lengthy freelancing career and was a reporter for two daily newspapers in Connecticut, covering a variety of beats, including education, local government and the state’s largest airport. While at Muhlenberg, she was a co-editor of The Weekly and a disc jockey and newscaster for WMUH-FM. She lives in Levittown, N.Y., with her 16-year-old son and two (very) fluffy cats, Adidas and Nike, and never met a beach she didn’t like.

Julia De Vita ’23

Digital Marketer & Social Media Content Creator, The Paramount. Upon graduation in May 2023, Julia performed in a production of Rent directed by original cast member Adam Pascal, worked as a teaching artist & administrative assistant at a performing arts academy, and has now been working in digital marketing and content creation at The Paramount (@theparamountny) since October 2023. Julia previously worked as a marketing intern at The Paramount in 2022, when Pollstar named it the #1 Club Venue Worldwide. She has been thrilled to return, now working with G6 Designz in the social/digital media department. Julia has been vital in marketing campaigns for musicians, comedians, and personalities visiting the venue, such as Sammy Rae & The Friends and JVN from Queer Eye. She primarily manages socials, captures and edits content, and also freelances as a Creative Specialist on the side. At Muhlenberg, Julia was a double major in Theatre and Media and Communication, and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies.

Samantha Evans ’10

Vice President, Archetype (Next 15 Communications). Sam has over 13 years of integrated PR experience across the consumer tech landscape. As the point person for some of Archetype’s most dynamic accounts, from larger brands like Capital One and Harman to startups like Envoy and ecobee, clients rely on her expertise in translating their strategic goals into programs that resonate with media. She previously led the Nuro, Upwork and Waze teams at the agency. Prior to Archetype, Sam led consumer tech teams at Weber Shandwick and Kwittken, delivering high impact campaigns for consumer brands like Hanes, Royal Caribbean and Wyndham, and tech brands like Samsung, Motorola, Verizon and Zocdoc.

Jillian Fligge ’11

Director of Digital Marketing, Hand Lettered Design. What do a local restaurant group, a pet hotel, a nonprofit and a calligrapher have in common? They ALL need marketing! Jillian’s background working for these very different companies is proof of how diverse a career in communications can be. As the Director of Digital Marketing for Hand Lettered Design, Jillian’s current focus is promoting mindful lettering workbooks and courses to a national audience. At Muhlenberg, Jillian was editor of The Weekly and double-minored in Creative Writing and Art Studio. She lives in Allentown with her husband Pat, a fellow ‘Berg alum, and their golden retriever, Steve.

Alberto Garrido ’21

Associate Campaign Manager, TelevisaUnivision. Alberto graduated from Muhlenberg in 2021 with a degree in Media & Communication and Theatre. Upon graduating, Alberto wrote and produced his own mini-series pilot; which was accepted into two film festivals, worked as a personal assistant, and freelanced on various production jobs. After these odd jobs, he accepted a role on the TelevisaUnivision Creator Team where he is the current Associate Campaign Manager. Alberto has traveled for events such as The Latin Grammys, Gold Cup, and other award shows and sports events to activate various social campaigns featuring social media creators in the Latin/Hispanic market. While not working with TU, he is often delving into his own personal projects whether it be a podcast, short film, music, or other creative venture.

Asherde Gill ’20

Program Manager, Epic Theatre Ensemble. Asherde is a filmmaker and photographer from Brooklyn, New York. They received their Bachelors Degree in Film Studies and Africana Studies from Muhlenberg College in 2020. Amoy works as a Film educator for middle and high school students in Pennsylvania and New York City. They thrive in spaces where they are helping students develop their own artistic styles and find their voices through social justice and art. As an Epic Alum, Amoy is now excited to work as a photographer and videographer for Epic’s programs.

Sara Glassberg ’14

Coordinator of Documentary Film Program, Sundance Institute. As Coordinator of the Documentary Fund, Sara supports and helps cultivate emerging and underrepresented non-fiction cinematic storytellers from around the globe. She facilitates application processes for specialized grant opportunities and reviews project proposals, drafts contracts, issues payments, approves credits, and more. She first developed a passion for documentary film while at Muhlenberg, where she double-majored in Film Studies and Media & Communication; after graduating, she handled non-theatrical & educational sales for Icarus Films, an independent documentary distribution company. Sara then relocated to Atlanta, GA for her M.A. in Film & Media Studies from Emory University, and remained for the next few years working at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, first as a Logistics and Event Operations intern, then Programming Associate, and then Ancillary Programming Manager. Across these roles, she managed guest curation and hospitality, community engagement and impact, and project submission and selection processes. In late-2021, she relocated back home to the NYC-area, where she went on to do Artist Relations & Services for Tribeca and New York Film Festival before starting in her current position in April 2023.

Steven Grossman ’00

Celebrity Talent Manager and Producer, Untitled Entertainment. Grossman is a former talent agent at both William Morris Agency and ICM before transitioning to a manager & producer at Untitled Entertainment, one of Hollywood’s most elite talent management companies. He was previously named one of “Hollywood’s New Leaders” by Variety, the industry’s leading trade publication, and twice to legendary Vanity Fair writer George Wayne’s “Downtown 100” list in both 2018 & 2019 as one of “the coolest, most relevant, creative, influential and inspiring people.” Appeared several years on The Brown List as one of Hollywood’s “Most Well Liked Executives.” Outside of his work as a producer in tv and film, in 2023 he was a co-producer on his first Broadway musical How to Dance in Ohio, a story about the challenges and triumphs of young adults on the autism spectrum and the importance of human connection. Beyond his work in Hollywood, Steven has been deeply involved in various philanthropic causes and was the proud recipient of the 2016 Spotlight Award at La Vie En Blue Fashion Gala at Warner Bros for his work raising awareness for Autism Speaks. He’s also the founder of Operation Save Christmas that helps financially challenged families around the holiday season. He previously served on entertainment advisory boards for City of Hope and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Emma Hamm ’15

Account Director, Protopia Technology. Emma is Account Director of Protopia, a startup educational technology company using AI to connect students and alumni for networking conversations. In this role, Emma manages the full client portfolio made up primarily of universities in the US and UK. She works with clients on product implementation, marketing strategy, and partnership building. However, as 1 of 4 full time employees, Emma’s work can also include training the AI engine, data analysis, and technology troubleshooting – a little bit of everything. Prior to joining Protopia, Emma worked in higher education, including 5+ years in Muhlenberg’s Career Center. In addition to majoring in Media and Communication, she minored in French. She lives in Allentown with her husband, Gabe, also a Berg alum, their beagle, Charlie, and their newest little Mule, their daughter Evelyn, who just turned one.

Haley Hnatuk ’20

Senior Marketing Specialist, Fastmail. Haley is both Senior Marketing Specialist and Producer of their podcast, Digital Citizen, an Apple Top Tech show that focuses on how individuals can live healthier digital lives and make the internet a better place. Additionally, Hnatuk is a documentarian working as an Editor and Assistant Producer of the documentary feature film, in love, in memory. Hnatuk is a lifelong learner. She is a 2020 Skidmore Storytellers’ Institute Visiting Fellow, a Muhlenberg College Media & Communication and Film Studies graduate, and she has obtained a certificate in Storytelling from the NYU School of Professional Studies.

Hallie Hoffman ’22

Community Growth Manager, Reedsy. Hallie manages Discovery’s platform that helps match indie authors with book reviewers. After graduating Muhlenberg with a double major in Media & Communication and Philosophy, Hallie stumbled upon an internship with Reedsy, and joined the team full-time following this experience. As an avid reader and media consumer, she loves working with a team and community of fellow bookworms. Her current position includes a number of different roles — from marketing/acquisition, to community management/user engagement — and she loves the excitement of juggling many different hats at once in a startup environment. Hallie is excited to share her experiences from the perspective of a recent graduate (or just chat about your favorite books!).

Madison Kirchofer ’20

Creative Producer, Team Whistle. Madison boasts an impressive portfolio collaborating with athletes and celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Victor Cruz, Billie Jean King, Jimmy Garoppolo, Nate Burleson, Tyrese Haliburton, Carli Lloyd and more. Her expertise extends to producing content for major brands such as Netflix, Meta, Wendy’s and State Farm. Maddy’s versatility shines through as she covers live sports events, including March Madness Final Four, WNBA All-Star Weekend, the US Open, and the NBA In Season Tournament, NFL international games and the Super Bowl. With a keen eye for storytelling and a knack for working with both professional athletes/celebrities and brands, Maddy Kirchofer continues to make waves in the world of social media.

Paul Mattioli ’92

Executive Vice President of Business Intelligence, Endeavor Business Media. Paul graduated Muhlenberg with degrees in both English and Communication. Fusing his passion for storytelling with the ever-changing role of marketers, Paul found his career path working in the high-tech B2B indirect that included roles in marketing and sales for global brands. Paul’s resume includes powerhouse brands such as Ziff Davis, Forbes, The Weather Channel and the New England Journal of Medicine. After his time at Muhlenberg he worked in Manhattan before heading south to Atlanta and Nashville, where he currently lives. Paul’s wife, Leslie Lund-Mattioli, is a Muhlenberg alum working for one of the most progressive brand storytellers in the consumer market. Paul has two daughters and some four-legged family members as well.

Alexander Mazepa ’12

Senior Client Success Manager, Obviously. A class of 2012 graduate, Alex has nearly eight years of client service in the marketing and advertising industry. He is currently an account lead at Obviously, an award winning influencer marketing agency for the world’s largest brands. Alex has fostered client relationships with brands such as Ford Motor Company, Campbell’s Soup, and Unilever, among many others.

Seth Mellman ’75

DGA Stage Manager – Television, Directors Guild of America. After 10 years as a professional musician in Los Angeles, Seth began a career as a stage manager for network television production in 1991. While in Los Angeles, Seth worked on shows such as the HBO Comedy Hour, The Soul Train Awards, Good Morning America and Hollywood Squares. In 1999, Seth moved back to the East Coast and productions here include The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, NBC Christmas Tree Lighting, The Dr. OZ Show, The Grammy Awards, The TONY Awards, The Kennedy Center Honors, Iron Chef America, MTV Music Awards, Country Music Television Awards, The View and Rachael Ray. Seth also has experience as a producer, director and editor for small corporate video productions.

Christin Miller ’05

Director of Strategic Communications, Social and Influencer, Bayer. A seasoned expert in the field of integrated marketing and communications, Christin “Chrissy” Miller has held top-ranking positions in the fast-paced world of New York City marketing agencies and has transitioned to an in-house role at life sciences company Bayer. Throughout her tenure, she has created, led and executed many award winning consumer-facing programs that have led to measurable business results and consumer behavior change. She is deeply rooted in the digital marketing world and holds responsibility for content creation for brand’s social channels, influencer engagement, coordinated paid media efforts, corporate and internal communications as well as big ticket creative campaigns.

Tim Murray ’09

On-Air Host, VSiN (The Sports Betting Network). Tim is host of VSiN Primetime on VSiN. Since graduating from Muhlenberg, he has enjoyed the highs and lows of the sports media industry. From the struggle to getting consistent on-air work, to being hired to host a radio show in his hometown of Washington, DC, to being laid off (multiple times), to covering the Olympics in PyongChang, South Korea, for Westwood One. Tim currently resides in Las Vegas and works for the Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN), after pivoting from traditional sports talk to more of a focus on sports gambling. Additionally, Tim remotely hosts a radio show in Milwaukee and Washington, DC.

Kim O’Brien ’09

Senior Writer, Franklin & Marshall College. As Franklin & Marshall’s senior writer, Kim supports the college’s brand identity with message-driven storytelling in a variety of formats. Prior to F&M, Kim worked as an independent consultant providing marketing services for a range of clients. A journalist at heart, Kim began her writing career covering local government, sports and entertainment for LNP Media Group. She has over a decade of writing, editing, and strategic experience within marketing and public relations environments.

Alexis Pellechio ’18

Civil Rights Investigator, Wentworth Institute of Technology. In her role at Wentworth, Alexis conducts prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and/or sexual misconduct, leads trainings and workshops, and plans campus-wide programming for students, faculty, and staff. Prior to working at Wentworth, Alexis attended law school at Northeastern University School of Law.

Robert Pepper ’03

Copywriter, The Next Level Experience. Robert works at The Next Level Experience, a personal development coaching company that helps entrepreneurs and high achievers discover or rediscover their purpose and live life to its fullest. He is proof that what matters more is where you end up, not where you start, and that continuing to learn and working hard after college pays off. He started as a socially awkward kid, and is now in a happy long-term relationship. He graduated with no idea how to get a job, and he’s worked a dream job for the last five years. None of this just happened. He made it happen. And he’s just getting started. A common phrase he hears working with entrepreneurs of all ages is that life is just beginning, and the best is yet to come.

Gabe Plesent ’18

Public Relations Consultant, Gabe Plesent PR. Gabe is a public relations and strategic communications professional. After several years of working at various PR firms in New York and LA, and working with notable DTC brands such as Dollar Shave Club, Casper, quip, Hyperice, MIRROR, and others, he ventured into freelancing and consulting. Gabe now advises and leads public relations strategy for venture-backed startups across a wide range of categories, including health & wellness, lifestyle and consumer tech. Gabe has experience over the past six years in PR from working with Christian McCaffrey on a Super Bowl campaign, launching a sexual wellness startup, leading an automotive brand in their IPO—and lots of fun projects in between.

Deniz Reilly ’11

Partner, Fisher Phillips LLP. Deniz focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling. As an employment litigator, Deniz defends employers of varying sizes and industries against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, retaliation, hostile work environment, whistle-blowing, and wage and hour disputes in the employment setting. Deniz represents clients in state and federal court, in arbitration, and before various state and federal agencies. Deniz also frequently counsels employers, serving as a point of contact for management and HR on workplace-related decisions and best practices for hiring, firing, discipline, and accommodations. She prepares employment policies, contracts and handbooks, and also counsels employers on such policies, workplace investigations, and other related employment issues. Additionally, Deniz regularly conducts training sessions for her clients, ranging from training for HR and management to company-wide trainings for all employees, on emerging workplace issues.

Andrew Rhodes ’11

Senior Vice President, DKC. Andrew is a public relations executive with more than 10 years of experience in bringing some of the most iconic brands in the country to life. He is currently a Senior Vice President at DKC, managing sports, media and business accounts. He also guides the day-to-day operations of the company’s award-winning sports practice. Rhodes has developed and executed campaigns for leading brands, game changing startups, and some of the most recognizable figures across industries. Rhodes is a trusted communications advisor to burgeoning brands and seasoned organizations and leaders alike. His clients have included: Meta, Sports Illustrated/The Arena Group, SMAC Entertainment, Delta Air Lines, Away, and the International Olympic Committee. He also works with acclaimed filmmaker Ken Burns and has helped former athletes like Derek Jeter and Michael Strahan build their second careers. Outside of the office, as a beneficiary of their groundbreaking research, he regularly volunteers with March of Dimes. Rhodes graduated from Muhlenberg College with a B.A. in Media & Communication and Psychology.

Sarah Rosenthal ’10

Associate Director of Experiential Learning Programs, NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development. Sarah has been working in higher education for the last decade and a half. After graduating from Muhlenberg, she worked in student affairs and business development/sales before obtaining a master’s in higher and postsecondary education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She currently works at NYU administering experiential learning programs, supporting students as a career coach, and producing the Wasserman Center podcast, All in a Day’s Work.

Eric Schulkin ’13

Video Lead for Kotaku.com, G/O Media. As video lead for Kotaku.com, a site that covers the video game industry and it’s connected culture, Eric collaborates with journalists daily in a fast-paced newsroom, writing, producing and filming editorial videos related to this burgeoning field, running the gamut from opinion pieces, interviews with industry figures, to Tips & Guides. Eric lives in New York City and would describe himself as often “happily stressed out,” doing work he’s passionate about with colleagues he respects in a demanding digital media environment.

Sarah Sharpe ’19

Content Specialist, Undercover Tourist. Sarah graduated with a double major in Theatre and Media & Communication. Her internships included once-in-a-lifetime positions with TV Guide Magazine‘s editorial team, Universal Orlando Resort’s content team and Cartoon Network’s public relations team. Today, she gets paid to go on roller coasters and write cheesy puns as a Content Specialist for Undercover Tourist in Orlando, Florida. Her day-to-day responsibilities include writing blogs, filming vlogs, creating social media content and helping families have their dream vacation. You can find her obsessing over superheroes on Instagram, Archive of Our Own, YouTube and Marvel Super Hero Island.

Emma Shavrick ’18

Senior Account Executive, M Booth. Since joining the PR agency in 2023, Emma has worked across Earned Media, Influencer, Experiential Marketing and Account Management to support clients including Aquaphor, Eucerin and Revision Skincare. Emma has specialized in Beauty/Consumer PR since graduating in 2018, working at Edelman, Lippe Taylor and Devries Global to support brands including Vaseline, Dove, Jergens and Sephora. At Muhlenberg, Emma graduated with a double major in Media & Communication and Anthropology with a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies.

Lisa Siciliano ’10

Senior Manager of International Streaming Content Management, Paramount. Lisa has been working at Paramount for the past 11 years. Throughout her tenure, she has been a part of 3 teams: Media Services Distribution, Nickelodeon Digital Partnerships, and now, International Streaming Content Management. With a focus in video operations and project management, Lisa has helped launch Paramount + in almost 10 regions, and spearheaded fun projects such as up-resing old seasons of SpongeBob for its 20th anniversary. Currently she and her team validate readiness of five regions’ subtitles and dubbed audio for high-profile Paramount + titles (Halo, Star Trek Discovery) and streamline delivery workflows and processes. She is excited to be back at Muhlenberg for Alumni Week, and can’t wait to see her professors, old friends, and the current students!

Natalie Silverman ’03

Chief Marketing Officer, Peridot Group. Natalie has 20-plus years of global marketing experience with extensive go-to-market, strategic management and product marketing expertise across enterprises and fast-growth startups and scale-ups in the financial technology, SaaS, news and media industries. She has led global teams, capital raises and exits at Dow Jones, American Express, Equinix, iHeartMedia, Billtrust, Compliance Solutions Strategies and Sidetrade, and currently is the Chief Marketing Officer for Peridot Group (formerly IBM Financing), a Blackstone portfolio company.

Ashlee Smith ’15

Senior Director of Content & Education, WKAR. Ashlee is the Senior Director of Content & Education for WKAR, the PBS and NPR station at Michigan State University. As a content strategy professional, she works to connect and reflect community through multi-platform public media. Ashlee has worked in the PBS system since graduating from Muhlenberg in a variety of roles, working on national PBS and BBC productions as well regional productions for PBS North. Ashlee has developed content ranging from cooking competition shows to documentaries and more and won an Upper Midwest Emmy for her work producing coverage for the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon.

Matthew Solnick ’19

Founder, Content Producer, and Strategist, SOLNIQUE. With a childhood spent on YouTube, he is passionate about the latest developments in social media and the online zeitgeist. Along with his skills as a videographer and editor, he brings an encyclopedic knowledge of the social media landscape and its history, and a veteran sense of what feels organic online. He runs the production company SOLNIQUE with fellow Muhlenberg alum Jacob Wahba ’20, working with clients such as Nike, Macys, Marc Jacobs, Revlon, and Brooks Brothers. A rich blend of corporate experience, consumer sensibility, and proficiency in strategy and hands-on production enables his toolset for identifying and accomplishing social media objectives, whether garnering engagement, building an audience, or selling a product. In 2018, Matt left Muhlenberg early to lead the production department of Plural, a social media agency, before returning to ‘Berg in 2019, shamefully dropped his Film Studies major, and graduated with a Media & Communication degree.

Terra Talamh ’14

PhD Student, Film Studies/Interdisciplinary Arts, Ohio University. Terra (she/her) is a 2nd year Interdisciplinary Arts PhD student at Ohio University, with a concentration in Film Studies. After graduating from ’Berg’s Film Studies program in 2014, she worked in various audio/visual jobs, service industry gigs, and several medical cannabis operations, before returning to grad school and earning her MA in Film Studies at Ohio University from 2020–2022. Upon completion of her MA, she decided to stay at OU and earn her PhD in Interdisciplinary Arts, where she combines her scholarly research with filmmaking and performance art. Terra’s scholarly research and creative work involves film theory, queer studies, psychoanalysis, and transfem identity. She teaches various undergrad courses, ranging from Film History to Cinema of Transgression to Film Aesthetics.

Kyle Tassone ’23

Music Producer and DJ, freelance. Working in music production for the past 11 years—in freelance for the past 4—Kyle is furthering his progress as a music producer and DJ. As a recent graduate from Muhlenberg, Kyle offers a unique perspective when it comes to navigating the music industry independently! Whether it’s opening for some of electronic music’s biggest names, working on collaborative music, and film-based projects, or DJ-ing for formals and weddings, Kyle is extremely passionate about what he does, and is just beginning the next phase of his professional journey!

Jacob Wahba ’20

Director of Operations and Creative Lead, SOLNIQUE. SOLNIQUE is an NYC production studio that communicates brand narratives through video and photo creation, as well as social media strategy. Its recent work includes leading video editing for the Nike x Macys partnership launch, the Lee Jeans x Basquiat clothing line collaboration, and production for various branches of luxury real estate conglomerate Related Companies. Before joining fellow Muhlenberg alum Matt Solnick ’19 at SOLNIQUE, Jacob worked in television production for networks like 20th Television on the shows Only Murders in the Building and Up Here. Jacob also assists Broadway directors on productions such as Cabaret and Baby, most recently assisting Tony Award winning director and lyricist Richard Maltby Jr. At Muhlenberg, Jacob double majored in Media & Communication and Theater, with a concentration in directing.

Julia Way ’21

Account Executive, DKC Sports. Since joining the agency, Julia has supported PR efforts for a variety of agency partners including Manchester City, the BIG EAST Conference, Sports Illustrated, the Professional Fighters League, and Religion of Sports. Prior to joining DKC, Julia was an Account Coordinator at Krupp Kommunications, focusing on thought leadership in the health/wellness and entrepreneurship spaces. She spent time as a field reporter/producer for local sports television in her hometown of San Diego, CA and completed a public relations/influencer outreach internship at Power Digital Marketing. At Muhlenberg, Julia was a Media & Communication and Theatre double major.

Elizabeth Whitney ’04

Managing Principal, Meguire Whitney. Elizabeth owns and manages the boutique government relations firm Meguire Whitney, which lobbies and writes grants on behalf of not-for-profit electric utilities across the country. After graduating from Muhlenberg, Ms. Whitney worked on political campaigns, in not-for-profit advocacy, and on Capitol Hill. Along the way she earned a Master’s in Political Management and a law degree from Georgetown. Most recently, she was appointed to the Arlington County Commission on Climate Change, Energy and the Environment and was named Vice Chair of its Energy Committee.

Natalie Wizel ’13

Content Producer, New York Football Giants. At the Giants, Natalie is responsible for producing and editing content across all of the New York Giants digital and social media platforms. Natalie produces the NY Giants flagship in-season show, The Coach Daboll Show, which airs on MSG Networks and the Giants YouTube channel and website. Natalie is responsible for multiple roles in the control room at the Giants in-house studio and MetLife stadium, including Assistant Directing, EVS producing, playback, and editing live highlights for the in-stadium video boards and post-game show. Natalie fills a “hybrid” production role, so along with the creative side of production, she also navigates talent, oversees the asset management system, and manages the Giants’ seasonal interns and production assistants. Previously, Natalie worked with Major League Soccer, HBO Sports, and New York City Football Club. Through these opportunities, she was able to gain multifaceted experience in production, accreditation, logistics, asset management, and operations of professional sporting events. Natalie graduated Cum Laude in 2013 with a degree in Media & Communication and Spanish, was a member of the Media & Communication Honors program, studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and was a four-year member of the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team.

Rachel Zatcoff ’12

Corporate Communications Manager, TD Bank. Most recently, Rachel was in healthcare tech at CenTrak where she was a marketing communications manager, responsible for creating unique content for all social media channels and supporting internal communications for the entire leadership team. Rachel has a PR background from her experience at numerous agencies and as a marketing manager at Doylestown Health. Rachel is dedicated to elevating brands and creating innovative corporate communications. Outside the office, Rachel spends time with her husband, Brad, and two boys, Jacob and Ben. She is dedicated to her volunteer work, providing pro bono services to the nonprofit Experience Camps. Two fun facts about Rachel – her trusted Starbucks venti is always within an arms reach and she is fluent in Spanish!
